Home Cooking New York will teach you the dessert basics you actually need to know, way beyond just chocolate-chip cookies or chocolate covered pretzels. You’ll learn all the essentials, from working with chocolate to separating and beating egg whites, and making caramel, fluffy mousse, custard and a perfect pie crust. You will receive hands-on experience in baking Individual Apple Pies, Dark Chocolate Mousse with Fleur de Sel Whipped Cream, Profiteroles, and Caramel-Vanilla Pastry Cream.
