You do not need to know much more than the fact that this four-part series will teach you everything you need to know for a lifetime of loving cooking. While being designed for the more beginner experience level, anyone with an interest and excitement to cook will certainly get their money's worth. You will cook approximately 20 separate dishes throughout the course and learn all the essential skills:

Class 1 - Basic knife skills, proper seasoning techniques, roasting and carving a whole chicken, making a pan sauce, working with root and green vegetables, learning to measure for baking, and working with fruit

Class 2 - Cooking with beef, searing meat, making pureed vegetable soups, sauteing leafy greens, roasting root vegetables, vinaigrette 101

Class 3 - How to select fresh fish, fish cookery: pan-frying, steaming and searing, understanding wild vs. farm-raised fish, creating balanced sauces for fish, roasting beets, cooking perfect rice, blanching and shocking green vegetables, making gremolata

Class 4 - Cooking with pork, browning and braising meat, making a roux, steaming leafy greens, working with sweet potatoes, braising vegetables, beating and folding egg whites, melting chocolate
