Learn how to operate the technology that sparked the Renaissance, Reformation, Age of Enlightenment, and Scientific Revolution -- Gutenberg's letterpress. Unlike today's digitized printers, the letterpress engraves, giving a direct impression of the ink. During this introductory class, Intima Press invites you to experiment with one of history's most important pieces of technology. You will create designs, learn how to operate the machine, and go home with a dozen personalized note cards, announcements, and even art portfolios. Make your own pamphlet and, who knows, maybe even start a revolution!
Note: The $110 price includes the $30 studio fee.
