What’s the secret behind New York’s pizza? Is it in the water? Maybe it’s the perfect mesh of doughy and crispy crust? It’s a combination of it all, and you don’t need a brick oven constructed in your home to produce pizza this good. During this Artisan Pizza Making class, you’ll mix your own pizza dough by hand, and craft your own personal artisan pizzas. Once the pizza is fit for your mouth's desire, place it in the oven and watch it bake. As the cheese melts, you'll sit down and enjoy a refreshing glass of juice before the tasting begins. The professional bakers at Le Pain Quotidien will also discuss how you can recreate those crispy crusts with a conventional oven at home.

Want the perfect pizza? Never leave your house to get it!

Note: Because your class will take place in a professional bakery, it is asked of you to observe some general rules in attire: no sleeveless shirts, short pants or open-toed shoes or sandals. You’ll be on your feet for three hours and so it is recommended that you wear comfortable, sturdy shoes. You will be provided with an apron and a paper hat (you are welcome to bring your own hat, if you prefer). You must be at least 13 years old to attend this class.
