Last night was a great show . The comics were hilarious, and the host delivered a great show and was twice as funny.

I was very surpised. When we got into the club, tt was small. 7 pm show on 5/11/13. Did not think there would be good comics in such a place, but i was wrong. The comics were funny, and eclectic. Some were new, some were older, but they were all very funny in there own way. Can't judge a club by its size.

I came here on a Thursday night and there were about 8 comics. Truthfully, I had a really good time. I thought the performers were funny and I cracked up a bunch. The only downside would be that the server spilled my white wine on my leather jacket, and he also miscalculated the bill and we ended up overpaying for our not-so-cheap drinks. Just check your bill to make sure everything's correct. Other than that, it's a fun time.

If this is the best in New York, you would not want to see the worst. These comedians were not funny at all. One of them even said, "Im dying here", as nobody was laughing.

This place would have been more fun if it were cheaper
On a Saturday night 8pom show it was a $20 cover plus a 2 drink minimum. Wanting to minimize my spending, I chose one of the cheapest options which was a $9 beer. This came to $23 including tax (WHO TAXES BEER AT A BAR?)
Anyways, it was a $40 night for only an hour and a half of entertainment (the show ended promptly at 9:30) Apparently I was the only one who thought this, as the house was full
Most amateur comedy clubs offer free admission with a drink requirement. I didn't feel I received adequate entertainment for my spending dollar.
At least the comedians were funny.

The grandiose name of this place belies its product. I give it one and a half stars because you can't rate it less than one and some of the comedians earned it the extra half. In short, this place is a rip-off. They charge top-tier comedy club prices, but most of the comics are just starting out. That's not to say some of them aren't good -- many are -- but the cover/two drink minimum charge just doesn't align with what you get for the money. For some sets, people didn't laugh at all. For others, we laughed continuously. This would be fine if the prices were fair, but you can go to the Comedy Cellar or Gotham and enjoy great comedy from older pro comics where you'll have many good laughs even during the performances of the non-marquee comedians. This place isn't terrible. If you're bored and every other place in town is booked (I'm not sure that ever happens), try it out. But know that for the same price, you can get many more laughs for your money and maybe even see a famous performer or two. That is guaranteed not to happen here.

Fun show. Two drink minimums is pretty lame. Not a bad time overall.

It was inexpensive and fun, great seats for everyone, some good, some only so-so - you just never know.... just what I like about a NYC Comedy Club. Drinks were a rip off.
