    High Point Mountain Hike

    (17)
Are you ready to go hiking? Then come embark on this miraculous journey up a beautiful trail, and gain over 1,900 feet in elevation. Prepare to cover a great amount of ground up the High Point Mountain and its V-notche exterior, a formation constructed by a large ice dam that once pressed against the side of the mountain. This is a moderate hike, including some steep and woodsy climbs, mostly near the summit. These trails are lightly traveled, ensuring some solitude as you work your way to the peak to see the area's remarkable sights. Prepare to uncover the notches and ridges created by glaciers, as well as the sedimentary rocks that still bear glacial scarring in areas. The hard work you and your group will carry out will allow you to see more terrain and higher vistas. You should expect to be tired and fulfilled on the van ride home, because this trip is expected to burn a pizza's worth of calories!
