    Horseback Riding and Wine Tasting

    Itching to get in touch with the beauty of nature by exploring upstate New York the way its first settlers did -- on the back of a horse and with a bottle of wine (probably)? Join Discover Outdoors to ride and dine with wine. Begin your day with a horse riding tutorial and a meet-and-greet with the well-mannered horses. From there, climb atop and enjoy a ride through the countryside. For two hours, you will ride through fields, woods, and some rocky terrain. Once you're tired of riding, you'll be taken to a nearby vineyard, where you will get to indulge in sampling red and white wines, and some of the most exquisite hard ciders in America. Top off your day with a stroll through the orchard. There's a good chance you won't want to return to the city. Note 1: You must be at least 18 years old to participate. Meeting, departure and return locations will be in front of the Starbucks on 4th Ave between 14th St. and 15th St. Transportation will be provided. All participants must weigh less than 250 lbs. Note 2: There is another meeting/departure location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn 30 minutes prior.
