This basic aerial technique class combines aerial, visual and circus arts with theater and dance for an exhilarating experience. You’ll learn the fundamentals of the art such as climbs, foot-wraps, knee-hooks and inversions. Professional aerialists will guide you through simple choreography and conditioning exercises that are guaranteed to challenge and engage every muscle in your body. Try something new and release your inner acrobat!

Note: Tight-fitting and stretchy clothing that covers the backs of knees, armpits and belly are required.

Elena Delgado (Tuesdays) is an aerial and burlesque performer specializing in lyra, rope, and aerial silks. She recently appeared as an aerial dancer and choreographer in the original aerial theatrical productions “Home” and “Modern Times." She has been training and performing in and around NYC since 2008, and has been a member of The Sky Box community since it was founded.

Nicki Miller (Wednesdays) is an actress and aerialist. At Sky Box she works as a performer, producer, manager and teacher. She has her undergraduate degree in acting and has spent several years working as a personal trainer.

Jennifer Kovacs (Saturdays) is a contemporary dancer, aerialist, and circus performer. She has performed with a variety of choreographers in the United States and internationally. In addition to being a performer and aerial instructor, Jen is an ACE certified personal trainer, and specializes in Active Isolated Stretch.
