About this Activity
This long-running class, which began in 1987, offers the fundamentals of improv from award-winning improviser Tom Soter, host of the long-running Sunday Night Improv comedy jam and co-author of A Doctor & a Plumber in a Rowboat: The Essential Guide to Improvisation. The class offers a supportive and fun-filled environment, offering training in short games that will enhance your natural spontaneity and also long-form narrative story forms that are a lot of fun! Students receive a ticket to Sunday Night Improv.

About the Teacher
Tom Soter has been teaching improv since 1987, is the editor at Habitat magazine, hosts the weekly satirical Weak Previews movie review show, and is the author of two books. He appears in improvised Super-8 action movies and has produced a cable TV access comedy show called Videosyncracies.
