Her greeting was not friendly and when I asked her for some more parsley, she grilled at me, gave me a dirty look and said a rude comment. Despite that, had a fun time. Thanks.

The steak cooking process was broken down in easy to understand parts, and I definitely feel I will be successful cooking on my own. Definitely recommend this chef and this class! :-D

Handmade Pasta (BYOB) April 20, 2016The class was fun and the instructor Sava was fantastic; However, I don't think the class was worth the price of admission. 150.00 for a couple to make one type of ravioli (the class is split in half, so half makes one kind, and the other half makes another) and to press fettuccini through a machine is a bit high.

I liked that it was BYOB and there were ways to make the dishes our own if we wanted to. I also appreciated the take home recipes. all in all the place was very clean and nice so it was just a great environment to be in.

All the cooking and preparation went smoothly and I ended up with a delicious meal at the end. My date and I ended up with A LOT of food and had to take some of our dumplings home. Only thing I would have changed is to have some real raw fish available to put in the sushi!!! But our rolls made with crab, carrot, avocado, sweet potato, and cucumber were all delicious. I would not hesitate to come back and take another class at Taste Buds Kitchen.

Sushi and Dumplings (BYOB) March 6, 2013I took my boyfriend to the sushi and dumpling making class as a birthday gift.
It was such a great time! The environment is conducive to meeting new people and having a lot of fun. They split the class into smaller groups (of about 6) and you share a table and ingredients. Everyone there was fun and friendly, and you play a quick ice-breaker game in the beginning that loosens everyone up.
The teachers (we had Chef Courtney and Chef Kaitlyn) were also wonderful, very nice and helpful.
The BYOB option is great, too. I would suggest bringing wine--that's what most people seemed to do. But remember a wine opener; they only provide you with cups. There is water there as well for people who would like that.
We will definitely be returning for another class. I would say the sushi and dumpling making class is well worth the money. -

Handmade Pasta (BYOB) February 25, 2013My friends and I did an adult pasta making class for a friends birthday and it was sooo much fun! There were about 11 of us so the teacher split us into 3 groups and we made 3 different types of pasta. The teacher was very friendly and patient with us. She would demonstrate and then we would follow. It was BYOB which made it even more fun and the pasta turned out amazing. It ended up being about 75 a person including tip so a little on the pricy side but it was a fun experience. I would definitely go back but just not as often as i would like to due to the price. Also i would not recommend making the group any bigger than 10 to 11 people because the workstation area would not be able to accommodate and people would be just standing around.
