JBF963 .Harlem's Historical Food Tasting Tour July 28, 2013
Great tour - if you have never been to Harlem or have not been there recently - check out this tour - very informative, fun and filling. Tour guide is wonderful and even though it was a hot afternoon our 4 hour tour was more than we hoped for - highly recommend.

A very well-organized and enjoyable tour. Bring a big appetite and comfortable shoes--you'll do alot of eating and alot of walking. You'll learn a little about the various cultures represented in Harlem and sample their foods. Jackie a lso knows quite alot about the history of real estate in the area and how different government programs and cultural shifts have affected its residents.
Don't expect to visit any upscle restaurants; rather, you'll visit places where the locals get the Harlem version of "fast food."

My teenage daughter and I loved this tour. Jackie is a gifted guide and super organized. The tour was well thought out and varied. Wear good walking shoes and bring your appetite!
