You may not be able to teach an old camera new tricks, but this class will certainly teach you a thing or two about old-school cameras!
Taught by a professional photographer, this class will give you a comprehensive look at film cameras, particularly 35mm and medium format (120) models. You’ll learn all the essential practices for proper usage of these cameras, including all the finer points of positioning and handling film.
Plus, you’ll get a look at how these cameras produce unique photographs, as you study elements such as ISO, aperture, shutter speed, light management, and more!
As a bonus, you’ll get hands-on experience shooting with one of these cameras. Who knows -- by the end of this class you may end up with a snapshot you’ll treasure for years to come!
Note: Students are required to bring their own film camera that allows manual adjustments along with a fresh roll of Kodak Tri-X film. A 35mm single lens reflex camera is highly recommended as the best choice for this class.
