Every chef knows the knife is the most important tool in the kitchen -- well, outside of a flat surface. Sadly, most people don't know how to properly use a knife. If you're having trouble carving an avocado or slab of beef, and find that you cut fingers as often as food, then The Center for Kosher Culinary Arts has a class to change this. During this Knife Skills class, you will learn fundamental techniques that will make you a faster, more efficient and safer cook. You'll even learn important presentation skills by being taught the correct cuts and chops for different produce. By working on various cuts like dicing, mincing, and slicing, you'll perfect your skills on vegetables and herbs... not fingers.
