Your tour begins inside of the world famous train station, Grand Central Terminal. Then you’ll cross the street to visit the Chrysler Building before heading your way over to Times Square. Your knowledgeable guide will teach you all about the history behind the development of Midtown Manhattan, including the history behind the New Year’s Eve celebrations. From Times Square, hop on the New York City subway to travel up to Central Park. You will explore the southern half of this green oasis, including the Mall, Bethesda Fountain, and Belvedere Castle. Finally you’ll take the subway uptown to Harlem, where the tour will pause for a soul food lunch at Sylvia’s Restaurant, among other options. See a plethora of historic churches, nightclubs, and theaters, such as the famous Apollo Theater. The tour will conclude at Rockefeller Center where you are free to continue exploring this great city on your own.

Note: These tours operate in all weather. It is recommended that you wear comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing (check the forecast!) Subway tickets are not included in the ticket price. The cost for food samples and lunch are not included, but you will have the option to try 1-2 New York food samples if you like, and you will stop for lunch. The cost for lunch depends on where/what you choose to eat.
