A truly wonderful experience, to be training at WMMA. Great environment; mature atmosphere; very structured, safe and clean.
Roger has a wealth of knowledge regarding many a martial arts, and all of the advanced practitioners are very helpful and very respectful, as well. It's a great learning environment and a really great place to start out as a beginner; no hazing, no meat-head BS, everyone checks their ego at the door.
If you're looking for a fun, productive and effective martial arts school, or if you're just looking to get in serious shape (serious, serious shape), definitely give WMMA a shot. After two weeks, you'll be looking at yourself in a whole new light.

If you want to spar with the best, go here.
I have a couple friends who are members and I have seen their bodies transform.
They have different types of classes to take depending on your interest and skill level.
Kids can go from the age of 2

If you think you're too old, you're not! If you think you're too out of shape, you're not. If you think an MMA school is all about a bunch of tough guys beating each other up, its not! If you want to get in shape, boost your confidence, and learn multiple disciplines of Martial Arts then this is the place for you! The owner and head instructor, Roger Mamedov is not only an excellent martial arts practitioner but is also a great teacher. The atmosphere is friendly and respectful. Roger is a great teacher and goes the extra mile to personally ensure that each student is learning at his or her own pace. Believe me when I say if I can join and look forward to training, then anyone can. I absolutely believe that Williamsburg MMA is one of the best MMA schools in the tri-state area. If you don't believe me stop by and check it out for yourself.

I trained with Roger and BBurg BJJ for over two years. Roger, the owner and head instructor, built the school from the ground up with only a handful of students and made it something really special. The guy is a class act; super humble and nice, and he's an black belt from Ricardo Almeida, and has trained with Renzo Gracie, frankie Edgar, and others. There aren't really any douches or gym tough guys there, and the environment is extremely friendly and family oriented--even though serious fighters like Akira, and a few younger guys, coming up the ranks in the amateurs also train there. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Certain life events have kept me off the mats, but hopefully someday soon I'll find my way back.
