About this Activity
Improv is one of the few forms of acting where you can walk out onto a stage with nothing -- no costumes, lines, or stage direction -- and still put on an amazing show! Come learn the tricks, skills, and secrets that will help you know how to flawlessly navigate your way through improvisation. Be introduced to the necessary skills and techniques to put on a great and entertaining show while learning in a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Every moment on stage is a collaboration with the audience, your fellow actors, and your own instincts and skills! You won't know what improv can do for you until you give it a try.

About the Teacher
John Monteith has a BFA in Acting from Boston University and has taught at HB Studio for 25 years. He has years of Off-Broadway experience and also writes and directs and has no plan of stopping. John is part of a 2-person improv comedy act with Suzanne Rand; the duo has played in theaters and on TV programs all over, including their own PBS series.
