    Kennedy Space Center and Everglades Airboat

    Clearwater Marine Aquarium Day Trip

    You'll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and taken to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, just 1.5 hours from Orlando. Dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured marine animals, this fun and educational attraction offers a variety of activities for the whole family. See Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays and sharks. Feed a stingray, watch a dolphin show, and have your photo taken with a dolphin. You can also take a behind-the-scenes tour of the animal hospital and visit the theater to watch footage of the aquarium's team rescuing and treating injured animals. You won't want to miss Winter, the world-famous dolphin whose story inspired the hit movie Dolphin Tale. After losing her tail in a crab trap, she was rescued and fitted with a prosthetic tail. First, take a NASA bus for a drive-by view of the space shuttle launch pad and experience the historic Apollo 8 send-off. Then, head to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you'll witness Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon. Here, walk under a massive Saturn V rocket and marvel at its 363-foot (110-meter) height. Your ultimate experience also includes lunch with a veteran member of NASA's Astronaut Corps to talk with an astronaut and get an authentic autograph!
