We think you’re onto something. In fact, we know you are, and there’s a name for it: TaeKwonDo.

TaeKwonDo is the Korean military art of self-defense that covers the following five tiers: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. In addition to empty-hand defense, it also includes training with weapons such as the sword, knife, stick and Bo staff. Learn this art if you want to wear your leather jacket unironically and cure boredom forever.

OH -- I know, what if we chop of the second half of the world (hi-ya!) and just called it “board?” ...Oh wait.
