    Ladies Self Defense

    “Why would you want to learn self-defense, little girl? Wouldn’t you rather braid your hair and play with dolls?” UGH! Doesn’t it make you just want to beat someone up!? Caique Jiu Jitsu Walnut Academy absolutely DOES NOT condone beating up sexist jerks, but they certainly understand that it’s fun to know that you COULD do it. And after attending their Ladies Self Defense class, you’ll be more than capable of it. You will learn critical techniques that will help you prevent potential assaults, break free from an attacker, and escape from underneath an attacker who has you pinned. You’ll also get in great shape, meet new friends, and feel good about yourself. We’d like to add that there’s nothing wrong with braiding your hair and playing with dolls.     Aikido

    Learn to defend yourself against an opponent using precise blocks, strong throws, and immobilizing joint locks. You will work with a partner to ensure that you get practice in both sides of Aikido: offensive, to attack, and defensive, to protect and avoid. Aikido is a non-competitive sport that doubles as a self-defense system, giving you time to both observe and analyze as you practice and train.     Taekwondo/Hapkido Group Class
