To Gi... or not to Gi.

Maybe it's not THE questions, but it's certainly A question -- and one that bears a surprising amount of importance for the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

No Gi BJJ means that you'll practice wearing traditional gym clothes -- t-shirts and shorts. You won't be able to grab the sleeves of your opponent's traditional Gi robe, and he or she won't be able to do that to you. This changes BJJ strategy, especially in terms of leverage and grappling.

But don't worry -- Competitive Edge Martial Arts will guide you through all of the foundational techniques.

Not only will you get a strong basis in No Gi Jiu Jitsu, you'll also get in great shape while building essential spiritual facets like self-respect and discipline. Plus, you'll make new friends!
