Your guide on this journey will be a local historian, who will introduce you to two of Philly's oldest neighborhoods: the aptly-named Old City and Society Hill. Along the way, you'll learn about the city's early days as a Quaker settlement and its rise to political importance, while visiting various sites of historical importance, including some that have stood for over 200 years.

You'll explore historic houses and churches on the inside and out as you get an intimate glimpse at how the city evolved socially and architecturally during the 18th century.

The tour generally concludes at Headhouse Market in Society Hill, which today is an active and vibrant farmer's market.

Time to find out more about the founding fathers!
