The Horticultural Center and Shofuso Japanese House and garden offers wonderful opportunities to photograph a traditional Japanese House and Garden on the grounds of the Horticultural Center with its own gardens, majestic trees, greenhouses, and fountain.

The Shofuso House and Gardens embodies Japanese traditional values by the melding of history and culture. The Shofuso Japanese House and Garden is a traditional-style Japanese house and garden that was built in Japan in 1953 using traditional techniques and materials.

It was moved from the courtyard at the Museum of Modern Art in New York to Philadelphia in 1958, to the site of several previous Japanese structures and gardens dating to the 1876 Centennial Exposition. On this tour you will walk through this site and have the opportunity to photograph the beautiful and breathtaking area. Along the way, you will increase your knowledge by learning useful tips and tricks on how to take the best photos that will last you a lifetime.
