Mural Mile Philly Walking Tour

Founded in 1984, the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has created over 3800 works of public art, thus designating Philadelphia the Mural Capital of the World! As the nation's largest program of its kind, artists and communities are engaged through a collaborative process, rooted in the traditions of mural-making, to create art that transforms public spaces, individual lives and exemplifies the notion that "art ignites change".

During this tour, a professionally-trained guide will share the stories of the people, places, and themes of each mural. Along the way, you will also learn about the culture of the neighborhoods, how the murals complement their environment and the 30-year history of the Mural Arts Program.

All tours run rain or shine. If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100% cancellation fee.
