Put on your walking shoes and take a trip down a "Historic Highway" during this Apache Trail tour!

Just outside of Phoenix, the Apache Trail is a scenic byway that cuts through the Sonoran Desert. While exploring the trail, you'll visit the historic ghost town of Goldfield, once aptly-named. Now restored, this location offers tourists a glimpse of what it was like to live there during its brief, 5-year prominence.

Later, you'll also have the chance to embark on a 6-mile nature cruise on Canyon Lake, courtesy of the Dolly Steamboat! During this portion of your journey, you'll check out the surrounding 1,300-foot cliff walls and possibly spot some local wildlife, including big horn sheep and bald eagles.

Then, you'll further explore the Superstition Wilderness, where you'll be introduced to Tortilla Flat and Fish Creek Hill, offering incredible views of the Sonoran Desert and Superstition Mountains.

While the mines may have run dry, there's no mistaking that this tour is pure gold.
