    Vietnamese Pho Bo

    What is more warming than a giant bowl of savory, delicious pho (pronounced fuh)? If you're not familiar with this comfort dish, pho bo (beef) originated in Hanoi after the French occupied the country in the late 1800s. Pho bo consists of savory, flavorful beef broth, rice vermicelli noodles, slices of tender beef, and various spices, herbs, and vegetables that enhance the richness of the dish. During this class you'll familiarize yourself with a variety of spices like star anise, which are used to enhance the aroma of pho. You'll also use different cuts of grass-fed beef, including thin slices of Kobe beef, to create a deep, rich broth -- this is the heart and soul of your pho. To pair with your meal there'll be shredded chicken cabbage salad made with quality free range chicken. And of course, you can't forget dessert! To satisfy that sweet tooth, you'll be served creme brulee. Your belly will be full and satisfied for the rest of the day!
