When is the last time you built a snow fort? Did you ever think you would build another one? Well, in a worst-case scenario, it's a great skill to have.
Join the staff of Rare Earth Adventures, who will teach you the basics of snow fort-building and possibly even a few extra survival instincts -- they're a knowledgeable crew, and they will be happy to share their survival smarts with you!
You'll get the scoop on structures such as an igloo, a snow trench shelter, a quinzee hut and a snow-cave shelter. And, best of all, you'll get to play in them after you make them!
All of your gear will be provided, and after a few good lessons in Frozen Water Architecture (FWA), you'll enjoy a few provided snacks and hot beverages. So all you have to worry about is having fun. What a return to childhood!
Note: A minimum of 3 clients is required for this trip to run. Participants must be dressed appropriately to be out in the snow for 4 hours, waterproof hiking/snow boots are highly recommended.
