You'll will start in the heart of the city and meander through the Cultural District, the Park Blocks, Portland State University and the financial district. Then swing by Pioneer Courthouse Square, also known as Portland's Living Room, and continue on our way to the beautiful Washington Park! There you can explore four-hundred acres of excitement including: the International Rose Test Gardens, the Japanese Gardens, the Hoyt Arboretum, the Oregon Zoo and the World Forestry Center. When weather permits and the gardens are inviting, you can stroll through the rose gardens, where you'll find over seven-thousand rose plants of over five-hundred-and-fifty varieties!

From Washington Park we will make our way to the famous Pittock Mansion. After exploring this landmark, you'll see more of Portland's most famous neighborhoods, including Knob Hill and NW 23rd street, the Pearl district, before we cross the Willamette River via the Broadway Bridge.

Just across the Willamette River from downtown, you'll delve into Portland's vibrant Central Eastside: a blend of industrial warehouses, creative studios and a rising tide of restaurants, microbreweries and after-hours hot spots. You'll cross the Willamette River once more on the Ross Island Bridge and add one more amazing stop to this tour: a ride on the famed Portland Aerial Tram! The tram is one of two commuter aerial tramways in the United States. You'll get amazing views of downtown Portland and the surrounding volcanic Cascade mountain range!

On your way back into downtown, check out the Tom McCall Waterfront Park on the Willamette River. Swing by the historic Skidmore district, home of the Portland Saturday Market and the world famous Voo Doo Doughnuts!

After this tour, you'll be a Portland expert -- in just a day!
