    Kennebec River Full Day Rafting

The Kennebec River offers a class IV+ whitewater rafting adventure perfect for thrill-seekers. As you enter the steep granite walls of the Kennebec Gorge, large waves can be seen ahead. From this point on, the Kennebec River plunges 12 miles through a spectacular gorge with crashing class III - IV+ wave rapids like "Big Mama," "Whitewasher," and "The Alleyway." The high point of the day is the run through class IV+ Magic Falls. Families with younger children can opt to ride in a row frame raft or join the trip at the Middle River access point. There are many Class III + rapids from this point on, offering plenty of time for swimming and enjoying the river.
