Looking for a little play time? This is literally the seminar for you!
You'll join fellow theater lovers to talk about ongoing Festival plays during a smart, intellectually stimulating open discussion. Led by theater scholars, and occasionally joined by directors and actors, these literary seminars are a chance to brush elbows with theater insiders, share your own thoughts, and take part in a lively dialogue.
Discussions springboard off of a single play performed the prior day, so they are generally focused and in depth.
Try not act up!
Note: There are generally back-to-back classes, with the first discussing the Adams Theatre production from the previous day, and the second discussing the Randall Theatre production.
What to expect
- Join an in-depth literary discussion of ongoing performances at the Adams or Randall Theatres
- Enjoy a lively dialogue led by a theatre scholar, and sometimes joined by directors and actors
- Share your own ideas and gain insights from the ideas of others
- Broaden your understanding of the works performed on stage
