The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) August 24, 2017The room was very cool in how they set it up. Very well done and the clues were great too. A huge plus is that it'll only be your group in the room; we look for this feature when checking out escape rooms. Also, we were able to book the same day which some other ones would not accommodate. Big plus again. Thank you Enigma hq

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) August 6, 2017For my first time doing an escape room, I think this place is a great way to be introduced to this world! The room was an enjoyable level of difficulty (so not too hard but not too simple), plus they give real-time hints specific to your group if they see you might need it, which helped a lot. I personally recommend groups of 4-5 people to be the best for this type of room because there were moments where some people weren't doing much when in a bigger group. I like that they end the experience with a photo booth and print however many copies you need for the whole group!
Our hosts, Lex and Kellen, were awesome people and they made sure we were having fun and felt comfortable as a group. Major props to them! -

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) August 4, 2017We just had such an amazing time! We have gone to several escape rooms in California and this was definitely one of the most fun experiences! Our host was Kellen and he was SO much fun! He provided hints when needed. The hints that Kellen provided were perfect- not giving away the answer but making us think about the hint. Definitely the absolute best host we have ever had!!!!

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) July 25, 2017This was my first escape room and it was so much fun. The details of the mission, the complexity of the clues. Everything was perfectly thought out. Would definitely recommend for first time escapers.

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) July 23, 2017The best part was the way Agent JC animated the experience and made us feel good about the experience and accomplishments. Agent JC has passion and has sold me to come back because I had a wonderful time and hope to have an agent as passionate as Agent JC was on my next experience.

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) July 12, 2017Very cool escape room. Unusual in that is it only one room you work the puzzles in. Other escape rooms have secret rooms or a door to another room. That didn't detract from the fun as the puzzles and story were all laid out well. The story and the puzzles worked together. Other escape rooms can be worked without any story. This room weaved the story and puzzles in together. This is not a gen 1 type escape room where you are trying to unlock one lock after the next which is awesome! They have a different take that you must experience for yourself. Eddie was our moderator and he was really cool. He only gave hints if you really needed it which were also done in a slick way.

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) July 2, 2017We came here for my birthday celebration and it was so much fun! I had a very large group of 17 people and they split us into two smaller groups. We had two groups doing two separate rooms, but the rooms were exactly the same so we all got the same experience! I loved the fact that they could accommodate my large group and we could all get the same experience! It made it infinitely better that we could race each other and it added an extra competitive element to the escape room. All my friends had never done an escape room and they had a BLAST! The puzzles were the perfect difficulty - not too difficult, but definitely not easy either. Both teams ended up escaping with just 10-11 minutes left! My group was a bit sarcastic and some of us arrived late, but the Enigma team and Kellan remained funny and calm and helped make our experience superior regardless! I HIGHLY recommend Enigma HQ!

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) June 12, 2017Great puzzle room! I've done a few at different companies, and this was one of the best. The puzzles were clever and tricky, but always had solid satisfying solutions. Hints were only given when we were properly stuck, and never too hand-holdy or over explained. Just enough information to get us going again.
My group was five people, three generations of family, from my parents in their 70's to my 10 year old nephews, and everyone was able to participate and have fun. It would have been too hard for the boys on their own, but it was perfect as a family teamwork activity.
We had a great time, and will definitely be going when this company opens more rooms. Highly recommended -

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) May 22, 2017Enigma HQ was an awesome escape room to do. I usually feel as though I only get to experience a portion of an escape room as everyone is frantically running around, but Enigma HQ was awesome because we were really able to work together. The aesthetic of the room is phenomenal as well! I highly recommend this room to anyone.

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) May 19, 2017I recommend this place if you like riddles and puzzles. I love the story line and hints available for you to move on to the next puzzle. Agent Jesse did great job on that. My friends and I went as a team of 8 and we enjoyed our time there! They also have free photo booth after you escaped from the room. It would be better if they can provide a time stamp to show how many minutes we took to escape.

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) May 13, 2017Enigma HQ was one of the escape rooms that our little team had decided to try on a whim. Though, to call it an escape room is kinda of misleading. You're not locked in any room with the goal of getting out but rather you have to solve the riddles and preform a series of rituals to further the story line. So, there's less lock and key kinds of things.
Our group did have a decent time, so my review isn't meant to be a bad one, but we came to the conclusion that we like the more traditional style better where we're looking around, opening locks in a larger space. To each their own. The staff was very nice and we appreciated that greatly. Try it out! -

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) March 26, 2017One of the cool things about escape rooms is you can tell a story through the artifacts in a room. One of the pitfalls some escape rooms designers fall into is ignoring the story. I've been in numerous rooms Daisy chain logic puzzles and ciphers together so you get a code and open another combination lock. I still don't know why the water demon wanted me to solve a Sudoku puzzle or do basic algebra...
Not so at Engima HQ. Each lock and puzzle make sense in terms of the story they are telling. This makes the experience especially immerserive. The staff was friendly, the production was top notch from the intro video to the props in the room. The puzzles aren't that hard to figure out, but they are extremely satisfying when you do solve them. They have created a truly unique experience and raised the bar for escape rooms. -

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (5 People) February 21, 2017Did Enigma HQ this weekend with a big group of friends. Due to our size, we were able to split up between the two identical rooms and compete. This seems like a unique feature to this escape room - and like the competition aspect. The story was very interesting - and the clues were very puzzle heavy. Difficult, but not impossible. The staff is watching, waiting to help you out when you get stuck (which we did - more often than i'd like to admit). Ultimately a great room and lots of fun! Oh and yes, we escaped the room ;)

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) December 3, 2016What a fun time!
My friends & I came here last Sunday to do their Lazarus Crystal room. We were 8 people & were able to successfully finish the room with a few minutes to spare!
Located in Little Italy, they do not have their own parking lot but there are several paid parking lots or metered street parking close by.
We had Keelan? as our host & he was very friendly & thorough. When you get there, the host explains what to expect, rules, & answers any questions you may have. When in the room, the host observes your group & gives you hints, which are unlimited, when they deem fit so not to make the room too easy or difficult for you. I will not spoil anything for you so just come on by & give it a try!
Free printed photo for everyone after the room! -

The Lazarus Crystal Escape (2 People) November 27, 2016My husband and I had a great time at Enigma HQ! We were in town for my birthday and were looking to do a few escape rooms. Enigma came highly recommended and it lived up to the hype. The story was interesting and the puzzles fit in perfectly with the theme. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the last puzzle. I don't want to give too much away, but I feel like things need to be made a little more clear when you are correct or on the right track. We spent a considerable amount of time on the last puzzle.
I also want to give a shoutout Kellen. We enjoyed chatting with him after the game. I also really enjoyed the photo booth at the end of the game. It was a nice added touch. Overall, it was a great time and I'd recommend checking it out! -
