A GoCar is a zippy, yellow, tiny two-seater that is fun and easy to drive. It is not only capable of GPS navigation, telling you when to turn, but will also tell you stories the whole way to make it a guided learning experience!
Let GoCar be your guide on this full day tour as you relax, taking in San Diego's easy-going lifestyle, laid-back urban settings, and beaches. You'll venture into San Diego's maritime past and present by traveling west toward the Cabrillo National Monument, exploring US Navy installations, and then back through Downtown San Diego, the Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, Hillcrest and Old Town.

GoCar (Point Loma and Beaches) April 12, 2021Had a great time! Riding these trikes is so cool, and also liked all of the information that was given to us through the GPS. The two attendants back at the shop (I think they were married) were really cool with us and even helped guide us back after I got us lost! Would highly recommend booking this tour.

GoCar (San Diego Harbor and Gaslamp Quarter) April 13, 2017The tour itself isn't good, the fun comes in riding around in the car. Wear sunscreen! The tours can get long, so bring some water. I wouldn't recommend the long tour. The medium tour was pushing it for us in terms of losing interest along the way. I think the shortest tour would've been the best.

Romantic, team-building, and more fun than can be said with words! We did the 2-hour tour and never wanted it to end! The go-cart is witty and fun, the scenery is breathtaking, and the experience is unforgettable. We want to do it in every city now!

Interesting commentary throughout the tour and the car/tour takes you to places you would probably miss. The cars only go thirty miles an hour - which seems quite fast when your driving.
We had the Go San Diego card for 7 days. You can use the card each day for this tour. Upgrades for longer tours are also available. Highly recommend. Wish we had more time! This is an excellent start to a San Diego vacation. My 10 year-old son had as much fun as we did. -

It was a little scary driving in downtown but not too bad because there are a lot of stop lights that help keep traffic safe. We had a City Go Pass and decided to try this out. It was a great way to explore downtown and the harbor!!! Carlos was awesome. He put me at ease before we headed out on the rode. This was a great adventure!!

Although I saw my life flash right before my eyes as I almost go ran over by a huge monster truck it was a lovely Saturday afternoon. Cars are pretty tight and small but its a blast driving around in one of these.The folks over at Go Cars Tours made the process of renting a go car easy & simple.
A note on the car: Hopefully these cars get updated soon as you can smell all the fumes/smoke coming out of these cars which is probably not the best for us to be breathing but maybe in the future they will be electric and we don't have to inhale all the smoke coming from this car. -

GoCar (San Diego Harbor and Gaslamp Quarter) January 24, 2016Great fun! Very unique way to see the city and explore. You are only limited by how long you want to keep driving around. So if you want to stop and check out sites, you can just park and explore everything you find. Jenni was very friendly and helpful and made the experience a lot of fun. Totally would do this again!

Jaime and the guys at go car are very funny and super nice and laid back about getting you setup. Oh and definitely go to Balboa park!

GoCar (San Diego Harbor and Gaslamp Quarter) October 31, 2015BEST PART OF OUR TRIP!!! Just don't die. Going through rush hour SD traffic was like scary daredevil stuff. But we all lived and we annoyed lots of people with our high volume tour guide telling us where to go. Visited Old Town, Down town, Gaslight, Balboa Park. Will do it again. Guys at rental place were nice. The cars are actually motorcycles, so if you've driven one, you are good, No shifting needed, just throttle and brakes. Other driver only issue.
