Gi or no Gi? No, it's not a hit game show on NBC -- it's actually a decision that all Jiu-Jitsu practitioners face: whether you want to robe up in the traditional Gi, which provides more hand-holds and leverage spots, or roll around in your regular workout garb.
We're talking No Gi here -- t-shirts and shorts, please! This changes grappling strategy, and as such, you'll learn moves that fit the bill. You'll also increase your strength, flexibility, fitness, and self-defense ability, while getting psychological benefits such as improved focus, energy, and general well-being. It's the perfect chance to learn new jiu-jitsu techniques.
