You’ve been wanting to try your hand at stand up paddleboarding, but you don’t want to fall or drift out to sea in front of everyone at the beach. Don’t worry, during this paddleboarding lesson you will get the chance to learn the basics of where to stand, how to paddle and turn, and maneuvers you can use to get where you want to go, looking in control the entire time. You’ll learn how to carry the board and also basic safety considerations you should know. You’ll also learn how to recover, always important in any watersport. Knowledgeable instructors will have you out on the water, paddling confidently by the end of your lesson. Any ability level can learn this fun way to explore the water.
Note: You must be at least 10 years or older and must be able to swim. A basic-moderate level of physical ability is needed for paddle boarding. You will be provided with a paddle board, guide, wetsuit, paddle, leash, and locker rental.
