Embark on your belly dancing journey with Meleah, a dance teacher with over 15 years of experience. She’ll teach you proper body alignment, dance posture, isolations and basic steps in this hour long course for beginners. Belly-dancing is great low-impact, weight bearing exercise that has been shown to have beneficial effects on the spine and flexibility.

Get in shape and have fun doing it! Belly dance is the oldest dance recorded. It has been admired for centuries for its grace, sensuality, and muscle control. Tone your muscles while learning this beautiful art form. You will be challenged, and will find muscles you never knew you had.

This is a beginner level class. You will focus on posture, alignment, technique with a strong emphasis on FUN! Your body will learn how to control small muscle groups, resulting in a toned body with greater coordination.

The best way to learn is through humor and a precise breakdown of steps. Meleah’s classes are lighthearted, encouraging, and everyone gets attention. She likes to interact personally with each student and help them develop their inner dancer, plus get an exceptional workout.
