Simply put, Aikido takes the joint locks and throws from Jujitsu and combines them with the body movements of sword and spear fighting. This introductory Iaido and Aikido class will teach you basic locks, throws, strikes, and blocks as well as an introduction to sword handling. You will learn techniques that involve mastery of the whole body while developing strength, stamina, and coordination. Develop self discipline and leave feeling a little safer knowing you have learned practical skills for protecting you and your loved ones.
