    Composition in the Field (Ocean Beach)

This three hour, hands-on camera workshop, is a rendezvous with a pro photographer, in any of a number of photogenic locales in and around the area. The session is designed to provide you with an exciting experience that will teach you the classic principles of composition.     Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour

    Up for a jolly old time? Head over to La Jolla for a little fluid fun on this seafaring kayak sojourn! Prior to setting out, you'll be geared up and walked through the basics, making this experience a great way for inexperienced paddlers of all ages to get their feet wet. Properly oriented, push out beyond the surf to calmer waters, and find yourself quickly off and paddling like an old pro. Your destination? The Seven Sea Caves of La Jolla-- which are every bit as fantastic as they sound! Spend 90 invigorating minutes exploring these diverse ecological habitats boasting some of the highest concentrations of sea-life in all of coastal California. Fish, birds, harbor seals, sea lions, and sea turtles will be spotted. Squeaking dolphins often accompany paddlers, in addition to swarms of leopard sharks in the summer months (they don't bite; their mouths are too small). Whales are commonly sighted (depending on the time of year), and, weather permitting, you'll enjoy the privileged opportunity of entering California's only north-facing sea cave, the Emerald Cave-- off limits except with a licensed guide. As you paddle, your knowledgeable host will fill you on the flora, fauna, and natural history of the surreal world you find yourself in, all while offering continuing pointers to help you keep paddling in the right direction. For those looking to make a splash, this tour gets it right!
