    Group Foil Fencing

    Who hasn't dreamed of becoming a master swordsman and teaming up with the likes of Zorro or Inigo Montoya to save the world? Well, even they had to learn somewhere. Enroll in LionHeart Academy's Group Foil class today and prepare to walk out the hero of your own story. During this 90 minute session your instructor will walk you through an in-depth explanation of competitive Olympic-style foil fencing. This class is open for anyone 10 years or older, and beginners are more than welcome to join and will be assisted at their own pace until they can integrate into the main body of the class. You will learn the strategy and tactics of fencing: offensive, defensive, and counteroffensive techniques will be developed and explored over time.     Women Group Foil Fencing

    Did you know that LionHeart Fencing Academy is the only fencing school in San Diego with a class dedicated to the instruction of women? Come on, San Diego! Get with the times. ;) (Just kidding, we love you SD!) Although it isn't imperative to have separate training, it is certainly helpful, as women's fencing phrases can be much longer than men's. Therefore, this class is dedicated specifically to exploring those differences -- especially good for those athletes aspiring to compete on the national level in gender-specific competitions. Beginners are more than welcome in this class and will be assisted by a coach until they can integrate into the main body of the class. So come as you are! Well, unless you're a male.
