You will need to have your cameras ready to capture the amazing wildlife swimming around you! Every winter 25,000 grey whales make the waters around San Diego their home. This is your chance to see them up close.
Whale watching is the main focus, but you will also catch a glimpse of seals and dolphins. You may even capture a lazy sea lion in the water. This expedition gives you the choice of staying closer to the harbor or going out to the Pacific Ocean. You will discover amazing animals and learn more about their habits. It is an unforgettable trip that will create some amazing memories.

We had a great time, as usual! Our Captain was Greg and he was an excellent host. The day was perfect for sailing. We ate snacks and talked about a bunch of things and met a father and son from Missouri who were in San Diego for the Breeders Cup horse races. Again, a very fun time. We will continue to book our sailing trips with Sail San Diego!
