You might not walk out of this class able to break a wooden board with your head, but you will walk out feeling better equipped to defend yourself and with a greater understanding of the philosophy of Jiu Jitsu. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport, and a self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It’s such a popular style, that many of Jiu-Jitsu’s techniques are currently utilized in law enforcement, as well as in military combatives programs. In this class you will cover basic techniques and drills. You will practice various grappling and ground fighting techniques, punches, kicks, takedowns, blocks, and more. Practice self discipline, get a full body workout, and walk away feeling more confident in your own abilities.
