The biggest thing that surprised me was that things never felt unsafe. You're up high, and the course does have some tough runs, and it's a bit scary sometimes, but it's SO MUCH FUN knowing you're safe and in the staff's beyond capable hands. Loved the experience.

This is the best experience coming up here and doing this challenge. The staff were friendly and very fun. They did make it seem easier than it really is. I would love to come back here when I come up here to Washington again!

I am afraid of heights, so this was a little extra challenging. But once I got started, and set my eye on the finish point, I was okay. I was actually sweating bullits by the time our 2.5 hours was up. The instructors were thorough and friendly and we had a great time. If you are looking for "Zip lining" you'd probably want to do a different course as there are just a few small ones, but this one was great for people who are challenging themselves physically and mentally and are in overall decent shape. (If you are not in good shape, you will regret it.) You will want thinner gloves, thick ones don't allow the manual dexterity needed. Also, if you are not sure how to go across a course, ask for direction. I winged it a couple times, and made it much more difficult for myself...We had a great time- another one crossed off the bucket list!

Came here for a company offsite. The staff is funny, supportive, and VERY safe. Nobody forces you to do anything you don't want to do. Amazing place.

Great safety crew. This is the place to face your fear of heights. It is a challenging course. 30 different obstacles and many different ways to go. Everyone helps out! The safety crew truly does help with safety and encouragement! Kyle, Andy and Nathan were awesome. In the beginning they crew explains in detail what to do.

I'm wicked afraid of heights and this place looks easy from the ground, but once you're up there it takes a little encouraging to start (in my case!) I had loads of fun and would like to try again, but I may book it for a warmer season, and I'll definitely bring gloves! The staff is amazing and they care mostly about safety first!

Went with a group of four last Saturday and we all had a great time. At first the course looked a little small, but because the challenges connect like a spider web there was more than enough to do to last the full 2 hours. The staff was excellent. We'd love to go back

Adventura is a fantastic place to get an adventure. I went there twice so far with a varying cast of friends, and I'm certain we'll go at least once more.
The staff are extremely helpful (should I say caring?). I was not aware that I'm afraid of heights until the moment I climbed to the mid-height of the cargo net (which is an entry point for the course) and looked down. After that I climbed the rest of the way up, hugged the nice wooden pillar at the platform, and refused to let go. It took approximately 30 minutes just to talk me into unwrapping myself from the pillar and giving one of the obstacles a try. I ended up braving three of the easiest obstacles, but the instructor (Sara I think, although I don't trust my memory when I'm so scared) had to hold my hand through them all - I don't think I could've done it otherwise! On the second visit I got a lot better and went through many more obstacles, but I still needed help from time to time, and there was always somebody to provide it.
This might turn out to be more of a "you vs your fears" experience than a team event - even if you go with a group of friends, chances are you'll go different directions from the start and won't meet each other too often on the course, - but there will be endless possibilities for comparing experiences once you're back down to earth, and for bragging in the following months :-)

yes it is scary. yes it is very high. no i didnt wet my pants.
i dont consider myself afraid of heights, but once you get up there, you inevitably tremble just a little bit around the knees. i didnt pay attention as to how high it was, but its easily 30 to 40 feet above ground. you hang around the course the whole time supported by a harness and a rope. it sounds crude, but it worked wonders and saved my butt a few times.
i thought the course looked small at first, but i didnt even get to do the full course. it wasnt because i was stalling time and cant get myself moving across the platforms, it was just very tiring. some are obviously easier than others. ropes are very unstable, as in they move around a lot, not unsafe. you will dangle in the air and look very helpless, but trust me, you will get through it. i was spinning around for awhile and nobody helped me... because nobody can, really. youd think its just walking on planks and flying through ropes. its nothing like on tv.
this is a good way to push through your fears, especially if you are afraid of heights. however, if you do wuss out midway in the course, you can opt to leave. personnel will come to you and you will rappel down to the ground, which looks super cool in a wuss way. i never thought those two things can happen at once. its almost SWAT like.
