So why not get out of Seattle and off the grid for a few hours during this immersion event into the Puget Sound’s Native American culture?

Your journey begins with a meetup at the Seattle ferry terminal, where you’ll travel by boat to Blake Island State Park. There, you’ll find Tillicum Village -- and a whole lot of steamed clams -- awaiting your arrival. After sparking your appetite, you’ll tour a longhouse designed to cook salmon in the traditional manner of the Northwest coastal tribes, before sitting down to a delicious buffet.

Following the feast, you’ll take in a remarkable tribal show offering storytelling and dancing. You’ll also have a chance to explore on your own, learn about Duwamish and Suquamish history, check out statues and art, and visit the gift shop.

Try not to “accidentally” miss the ferry ride home!
