This wine and nature tour will take you into the heart of one of the nation's most esteemed wine countries, and then into the Cascade foothills, for waterfalls and chocolate. You'll be bussed out of Seattle to Woodinville, home to many of the hundreds of wineries now found in Washington. There, you'll visit the award winning Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, and the Columbia Winery, for a behind-the-scenes look at the estate-winery industry. Of course, you'll also enjoy the opportunity to participate in tastings of some of the best offerings.
Afterwards, you may wish to partake in a gourmet lunch - the option is yours - prior to enjoying a leisurely trip through the scenic Cascade foothills to Issaquah. There, you'll revel in the thundering Snoqualmie Falls, a spectacular 268 foot waterfall long revered by the Native American people. Afterwards, you'll stop by Boehm's Chocolates for samples of artisanal chocolate treats.
Pretty sweet, right?
Note: Wine tasting fees not included. Please allow $10-$17 at each winery for tasting fee options of your choice. Winery selection may occasionally vary due to winery schedules and private events. Cost of lunch not included either (allow approximately $17 per meal).

Winery and Waterfall Tour April 24, 2017Cory did a fantastic job of pointing out the major sites of Seattle, while providing fun facts. Breathtaking views, excellent wineries, and amazing landscapes. A great day trip!

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour April 15, 2017I decided to take a day tour of Mount Rainier for an opportunity to get out of the city. I got really lucky to have one of the few days during the month when the sun actually came out so the views of the mountain were amazing. Our guide said this was the first day in a month that they could actually see the peak so I felt fortunate. I think it would have been quite a disappointment to spend all this time on a bus only to see clouds and fog. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area but his attempts at humor during the trip were not to my taste. Please be aware- this is a LONG tour. By the time you pick everyone up and drop them off at their hotels you are approaching 11-12 hours on a mini bus. That also includes many bathroom stops and two 25 minute stops at a local grocery store on the way. I was definitely ready to get off the bus by the time we were done. Good weather made the trip successful but at this time of the year in Seattle, nice weather can be hard to come by.

Boeing Factory Tour April 10, 2017Heidi arrived prompt and in well presented clean mini bus at or hotel as arranged we then picked up at a couple of other stops and headed to the plant. Heidi kept us entertained on the journey there ( ps we won't say about your alternate footwear Heidi promise !!!) with interesting facts and figures about the area

Winery and Waterfall Tour March 23, 2017Really, really enjoyed our winery and waterfall tour. Cory was super informative about every leg of the journey, from sites and points of interest while driving us between stops, to details about each winery. Loved how each winery was unique in style and decor. Cory did a great job and gave us the opportunity to fine tune our own tour by asking our preferences and interests, he genuinely seemed to want us to have a good time. Waterfall was gorgeous. It was a fantastic day!

Boeing Factory Tour February 23, 2017We'd booked a trip of the Boeing factory and intended to make our own way there, but the weather was very bad and we didn't want to drive. We called Customised Tours and they were so helpful in suggesting how we could change the time of our tour to use our existing tickets, and just pay them for the transport. On the day of the tour the driver picked us up on time, and was very interesting with her commentary about Seattle on the way to the Boeing factory.

Boeing Factory Tour February 12, 2017It was ok, took me on time, good explanation about the services, clean bus that's fine. It is a good option if you don't want to drive up to Boeing.

Boeing Factory Tour February 10, 2017Cory was awesome! He went out of his way to tell us about Boeing & the parts of Seattle we were passing on the way. Then after the tour he took the long way back so he could show us even more interesting areas of the city.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour January 17, 2017Danielle is perhaps the best tour guide I've had on any trip. Made the entire Mount Rainier experience completely different.
She was extremely knowledgeable about her science, the statistics and metrics of Mt Rainier, extremely personal, and she's even climbed Mt. Rainier from personal experience. This is right in her back yard. She knows so much about the environment and drove us safely throughout the entire day on the icy roads. All of the equipment such as gators and snow shoes were given to us and the lodge and scenes of Mt. Rainier were breath taking.

Winery and Waterfall Tour January 12, 2017While on a weekend cruise, our ship stopped for a full day in Seattle. Since we had so much time, I booked us on Customized Tours' Seattle Winery + Waterfall Tour. Before leaving the city, our tour guide passed out small pieces of paper for us to order our lunches. According to the company website, "There will be an opportunity to enjoy lunch from a selected eatery with gourmet food selections. We recommend allowing up to $17 for your meal." I had incorrectly assumed we would visit a restaurant. Instead, the order page listed 2 sandwiches and 1 salad, which all cost $17 each. (They even asked for gratuity!) The boxed lunches would be distributed at the second winery. All the options contained bacon, and my husband does not eat pork. We were a bit put out by this. If we had known the picnic nature of lunch, we would have picked up something before boarding the bus. Instead, we had to scramble to come up with a plan. Thankfully, the first winery served pizzas. We ordered one to go and ate it at the second winery. The cost of the pizza was less than one of the boxed lunches, which were extremely overpriced.
As for the tour, the Woodinville wineries are very close together. Our first stop was Novelty Hill Januik Winery. It is more of a tasting room than an actual winery. The employees were polite, but they did not seem very knowledgeable about their wines. The second stop was down the road at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. We stayed here a couple hours, and it was the highlight of the tour. The grounds are extensive and beautiful. There is some grape production going on, so it seemed more like a winery. The employees were friendly and helpful. If you order a glass of wine, they will serve it in a plastic wine glass that you can carry outside. We were able to find a cozy spot on the grounds to sip our wine and eat our pizza. Our next stop was Snoqualmie Falls. We were there long enough to enjoy the views and take a very short hike. There were lots of tourists about. Our last stop was Boehm’s Chocolates. It's a tourist trap. I would have rather spent more time at one of the earlier stops or visited a third winery.
Overall, the tour was fine, but the overpriced boxed lunches rubbed me the wrong way. I knew we would have to pay at the wineries. Adding $17 sandwiches on top of that was just too much for me. -

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour December 10, 2016As an individual traveler I am not very fond of group tours, but as I didn't have a car, when I visited Seattle, I chose to go on this Mount Rainier tour. Turns out: it was thebest choice ever. The groups are not too big. The tour guide was amazing! John told us a lot of interesting stories, that we almost forgot that it was so foggy and cloudy, that we didn't get to see anything of Mount Rainier. John was prepared, he showed us pictures of how it looks on a sunny day. He just entertained us all the way through the day. We made stops in the forest with giant trees, where we could walk a trail. The beauty of this national park is simply stunning, no matter if it rains or not.

Boeing Factory Tour November 15, 2016We had a great tour to the Boeing Factory and the wine and waterfall tour with Corey. Each tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this Tour company to anyone in the area. The door to door pick up and drop off allowed us to enjoy the trip stress free.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour November 6, 2016The day to mount rainier was the highlight of our trip. We were picked up by our driver joe also goes by Casper at 8 in the morning at our hotel. The round trip takes about 10 hours that will fly by. Joes insight and humour kept the journey interesting and lighthearted, we stoped at some majestic places to get our pictures taken and the sights were breathtaking. The prices at the restaurant on mt rainier where a bit high so you might want to pack a lunch. Great experience would recommend it to everyone to give it a go, especially if joe was driving.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour October 31, 2016+ Excellent experience.
++ Danielle was amazing - knowledgeable, entertaining, and passionate about Seattle, the state and the National Park. She was able to customize the trip on the fly based on weather conditions, and we did not have a dull moment. Shared a Lot of history, stories, local information that just made the experience richer.
This trip is worth it - and Mt. Rainier is breathtaking !
- Would have been nice to have more time to hike/explore
- Come with a good attitude and curiosity to experience different things (a number of our fellow travelers, were not interested in experiencing it in whole - and more concerned about getting back in the van)
- Come prepared for changing weather conditions.... -

Explore The City Of Seattle October 24, 2016Shane provided a very entertaining and informative tour of Seattle, without a lot of silliness or wise-cracking jokes that I have seen on other tours. He kept it light, but provided a comprehensive but easy to understand history of the city. We got out of the van several times and took easy walks around different sites.
I will highly recommend this tour for someone like me that didn't know anything about Seattle, but do now. -

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour October 24, 2016We took the full-day Mt. Rainier tour with the awesome Danielle as our guide. From the moment she picked us up at our downtown Seattle hotel, we knew it was going to be great. The late October day was cloudy, but mild. We saw amazingly beautiful and awe-inspiring sights. And thanks to Danielle, we were able to make many stops and become fully immersed in the experience. Her enthusiasm for and knowledge of her mountain home made it one of the best tours we have ever taken. Highly recommended! Don't miss this tour.

Winery and Waterfall Tour October 22, 2016ur tour was so awesome! The big storm was suppose to be coming and Cory was very attentive to make sure that we would get back at a safe time. The tour was the highlight of our trip. Chateau St. Michelle winery is a great place to stop and taste some great wines and learn about Washington wine. Theres a free tour on site but definitely longer than 30 minutes. We had some trouble with cashing out and a new employee cashier but Corey was so nice and said he will come back and get us so we could still purchase our wine. The second winery was very informative of wine and had tasting as well. Both wineries have tasting fees as well, the smaller one waives the fee if you purchase over $25 (I think). The boxed lunch was very fresh and delicious, I read the reviews before booking and they said it wasn't enough so I don't know what they had. The Balsamic dressing was very good. The falls were gorgeous, the entire tour felt quick and efficient time at each place. Corey was very informative throughout the tour with facts about Seattle. The group we were with was a fun group to do this great tour with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are in Seattle and thinking of something to do. It was nice to see the nature side of Washington and not just downtown Seattle. Beautiful views for sure. Thanks Cory for an awesome tour!!!

Winery and Waterfall Tour October 18, 2016Had a great tour to the Snoqualmie Falls and Chateau St. Michelle winery (also second smaller winery and chocolate shop). Cory, our tour guide was very informative with a great sense of humor! Loved Chateau St. Michelle winery and wished we had a bit more time there. The falls are beautiful and the chocolate was delish! Box lunch was surprisingly very good.Pick up at our hotel was a plus also. Would high recommend tour to anyone visiting the Seattle area.

Winery and Waterfall Tour October 16, 2016I took this trip on a very rainy day but it turned out great since we were traveling in a bus or inside the wineries most part of the trip.
Perfect tour if you have a short visit to Seattle.
Cory was the best guide, very knowledgeable and funny. -

Explore The City Of Seattle October 9, 2016We took the 3 hour city tour with Shane. He was the perfect tour guide! We got our money's worth as it was a little more than 3 hours. You can tell this guy loves his job and the city of Seattle.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour October 7, 2016We had the most magnificent day yesterday visiting Mt. Rainier. Danielle was our tour guide and driver and her passion for "her mountain", her knowledge and her happy, and enthusiastic nature helped make this a day to surely remember. Mt. Rainer itself was truly spectacular, and we made stops to, and on the way back from, Paradise and the Visitors centre. We went for walks into the forest, we saw waterfalls and learned so much about the region. We highly recommend this tour and especially if you are lucky enough to get Danielle as your guide. Thank you.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour October 7, 2016This is one of the best tours I've ever gone on! The tour guide, Danielle, had so much knowledge and passion about Mt. Rainier that it made the tour that much more fun. It was cloudy for most of the day we were out there, but the mountain did peek through on a few different occasions and it was magnificent! Mt. Rainier is just so beautiful. We had a bit of time at Paradise to go for a hike and I was able to get pretty high up the mountain. Eventually had to stop when I got to the paths covered with snow. Overall, I highly recommend this trip and the tour guide Danielle. I really believe an excellent tour guide can make a huge difference and Danielle was a very big part of this great experience!

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour September 20, 2016I can't say enough GREAT things about Customized tours. They are so easy to work with and the end results were way more than expected. I planned two tours for a group of ladies visiting Seattle. One was a priviate city tour and the other a public tour to Mt. Rainier. BOTH tours were a HUGE SUCCESS which I attribute mostly to our drivers, Shane and Joe. Both drivers were extremely knowledgeable as well as friendly, entertaining, and patient. We could not believe how much value we received for our fare. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Customized Tours and their drivers. You will not be disappointed.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour September 19, 2016This was one of the best tours ever. The Mt. Rainer National Park was breathtaking and it was a fantastic visit. Our tour guide.
Danielle Graham was the best guide ever.
Her knowledge of the area and her love for
the outdoors was truly what made the trip the best. She is so much fun and energetic, I'm sure the whole bus had fun. Met new friends and will always remember
how beautiful Mt. Rainer is. -

Winery and Waterfall Tour September 18, 2016This was a Winery/Snoqalmie Falls tour. I was picked up promptly from the Doubletree Hotel in Seatac WA by Cory my tour guild. I could not have asked for a better tour guild. Cory was knowledgeable, engaging, funny and a really safe driver. This was my first visit to Chateau Ste Michelle in Woodinville WA. Although I do not drink, it was still worth being there. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. In fact many concerts are held there during the summer. Cory was able to give interesting fact about Woodinville. Our next stop was Snoqalmie Falls. Again this was my first time and I was absolutely astounded at the beauty of it all. Our last stop was Boehm's Candy shop where we were given free chocolate samples. It does not get better. Through it all, Cory kept us entertained.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour September 18, 2016Had just a day off work and booked the tours to do Mt Rainer .. was so bummed that the weather didn't hold fort- was raining for most part of the trip.
But fabulous Mr Jill helped us make the most of the trip with extremely funny commentary of history cum fictitious stories, engaging us with great conversations and taking us to hidden gems, apart from the planned paradise village!
Not only does he know the place in and out, he also knows the winds there in and out! He knew the best photo op places, the trails to get to the stunningly fierce waterfalls.. we couldn't catch the actual Mt Rainer cuz the day was so misty, but I must say Jill's efforts to make the most off a day that wasn't as desired weather-wise is commendable!
Totally reccommend the tour and the guide - if all you have is 1 day to explore in Seattle! -

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour September 15, 2016Great tour with Danielle. She was incredibly accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. She knows the terrain like the back of her hand, and she knows the best stops for pictures, hikes, etc. Handled the bus and our group like a real pro. Great way to do Mt. Rainier National Park in a day.

Boeing Factory Tour September 7, 2016this was one thing my 21 year old son REALLY wanted to do while we were in Seattle, and it certainly was well worth it ! The shear size of the place is quite overwhelming, but the tour guide was informative, friendly and very helpful. To see first hand how planes are assembled, and the technical planning that is necessary to make it all run smoothly was amazing. Luckily, we also got to see one plane do a test take-off, and landing from the Information flight deck. Apparently more had been doing that while we were in the plant, but at least we got to see one go through it's test routine. While the tour was efficient in its timing of moving us through all the stages of the assembly line, I think my son would have liked to have the chance to linger and watch for longer, but as I said to him, well we just have to come back and do it again !

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour August 13, 2016Both were top notch tours but I'd have to say my brother, cousin, and I had the best time at the Mt. Rainier tour. We never got to see the summit but that didn't bum us down for we had an amazing tour guide (it was her birthday that day) but for the life of me I cannot remember her name. She was so funny and quirky and really made everyone feel welcomed. Everything we got to see was well worth the hike. Took some amazing pictures that you can see more of on my Instagram @zeroanimosity. Overall lovely time and I'd def recommend to my friends!! The wine tour was also fun, not as adventurous for my taste but still an experience nonetheless. The waterfall was huge and we hiked the whole thing! 15 minutes and we were sweating down to our ankles that day. Our tour guide was Cory. He was awesome and hilarious to ride with! At the end of the waterfall we forgot there was a chocolate tour and got excited again. I think it was worth the money for all the activities we got to do that day. The factory is small and quaint, but chocolate was great. My brother throughly enjoyed it even though he hardly eats/likes chocolate. Said it was the best he's had. Cory even stopped by a beautiful nursery full of flowers and blackberries we got to pick ourselves. Thanks for having us customized tours!!

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour August 12, 2016I would highly recommend Customized Tours, we recently went on the Mt. Rainer tour, I don't remember our drivers name but it was a lady who lived out near the mountain. She was so pleasant and informative, she made a cloudy rainy day seem sunny!

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour July 29, 2016Just got back from taking a day tour to Mt. Rainier and am very pleased with my experience. Danielle was my guide, she was knowledgable and very accommodating! She made sure we were able to get the best pictures of the sites! Make sure to wear good shoes and bring a sweater! The whether there is hard to predict and when I was there went from cold to hot all day. Can't express this enough to but Danielle was great! I would recommend her to any of my friends and family who want to visit the mountain.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour July 26, 2016This is a 12 hour tour, we were picked up on time, we stopped at a Fred Myers grocery store where we picked up a picnic lunch, or you can buy a sandwich at the park. You make several scenic stops to take photos and see waterfalls, vistas, etc, on the way to and from the main visitor center at Mt Rainier national park.
We had a great time, our driver was Joe and he was personable, very knowledgeable of the area, and seemed to be personally invested in all of us having the best experience we could. He stopped to show us various things and told us where we could get the best picture.
That said, some of the trails are uphill and may be hard to get to for the elderly or disabled. -

Winery and Waterfall Tour July 1, 2016Our family took the winery/Snoqualmie Falls tour and it was fantastic! We saw so much of the Seattle area on the tour and our guide, Cory, was funny, efficient in keeping our group on schedule and very knowledgeable! My only wish would have been to spend maybe 15 more minutes at the waterfalls but other than that we had an amazing day. Will definitely take another tour with them next time we come to the area.

Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour June 12, 2016Danielle was doing a superb job for being our tour bus driver heading to Mt. Rainier on June 11, 2016. Mount Rainier National Park Day Tour June 2, 2016Danielle was our guide on the Customized Tour. She was EXTREMELY knowledgable about pretty much all things Seattle and especially Mt. Rainier; it was quite impressive. We almost did not get to see the summit due to cloud coverage, and at the last second it emerged from the clouds. Even if the peak had not shown, the tour was still very enjoyable and well worth the money. Would recommend using this tour group!

Winery and Waterfall Tour November 12, 2015Me and my friend took their winery + Snoqualmie waterfall tour and that was just great! Cory, our driver and a tour guide, was really good, he told us so many interesting facts about Washington, he was very helpful and funny. Cory, you rock! :)) we also went to a chocolate factory on the way back! Such a great experience. Thank you!

Boeing Factory Tour November 12, 2015I did the Boeing factory tour earlier this week. The driver picked me up on time, and drove to the hotels to pick the rest of the passengers before making the trip north. The driver was also a very good tour guide and we were able to make the earlier Boeing tour, which lasted 90 minutes.
After that we visited the gift shop before returning back around 1PM.
Overall a fantastic tour. -

Boeing Factory Tour October 2, 2015This is a great tour. Don't miss the opportunity to see the plant and plane assembly lines. Worth the trip, even if you aren't a big fan of planes. The visitor's center is set up with lots of things for kids to do, even those that are merely kids at heart.
We were picked up at our hotel and Joel, our guide, was great. Very personable and knowledgeable. He waited for us during the Boeing tour and was happy to drop us off where ever we wanted when we returned to the city. -

Explore The City Of Seattle August 1, 2014My husband and I booked the Explore the City of Seattle tour conducted by Terry! An absolute gem. The three hours just flew by as we took in the sites with Terry's quickly delivered information and charming repartee. Very interesting, and would probably do it all over again. Loved the salmon ladder and Pike's place.
