I'm so happy this was where I got my first introduction to pole dancing. I came with no dance experience but the instructors here got me so excited for pole that I started coming 8 classes a week for two months straight. I love how much contemporary dance and choreography that is incorporated into every lesson plan. Instead of just learning a bunch of cool tricks, you actually learn how to dance and transition through different moves so that everything you learn starts to have a flow. I really appreciate how much the instructors care about their students safely progressing through moves. They are always there on time and have a good grasp of recognizing student strengths and limits so you are never pushed too hard to a point that you feel unsafe learning something new.
I went to this studio for about 5 months before I moved away from Seattle. It was only until I left and tried other pole studios that I recognized the excellence of Enchant. I appreciate that this studio actually gives you time before and after drop-in classes to freestyle dance all the various moves and combos you know. This can feel awkward and embarrassing at first but it really allows you keep up the muscle memory of what you have learned so that you're still comfortable with moves that you learned even months back. I also appreciate that Enchant encourages you to have a habit of taking notes on moves and choreography you have learned. It is nice to have an actual detailed record of moves to reference back because I feel like you waste the experience if you forget what you learned. I also really enjoy that this studio has unique music themes every week and that you're always welcome to choose a song you would like to dance to. It really challenges you to express different feelings and characters during the freestyle periods. I appreciate that Enchant has fun conditioning exercises they designed to specific songs which makes strengthening muscles a lot more engaging. I am so thankful his studio also has a trigger-point foam roller and therapy balls you can use during class to help loosen tight muscles if you start to cramp or feel sore somewhere on your body. There is a very structured day-to-day lesson plan for every level offered at this studio which I really enjoy because the teachers are always prepared and it gives me a clear idea of knowing when I will progress to the next level and how I want to schedule my time around that.
When it comes to taking a head over heels class, Glenn is the real MVP for making you feel safe when you are upside down as a beginner. They will always have a crash mat out and break down every single step you need to work up towards to be able to do a basic invert and other variations with dismounts. You get clear instructions on how to move your body if you end up stuck before you can do a new move so you can always safely slide back down to the ground. You always learn new moves on a crash mat and when you can do it correctly and comfortably, you are then allowed to do it without a mat. I have had teachers at other studios that rarely use crash mats, don't give clear instructions on what to do if you get stuck, and not be present there right behind you to spot you. These are things I would have to request but luckily you don't have to worry about that at Enchant because their safety practices are spot on.
Overall, I got a really balanced experience of dance and strength training at Enchant. I love this studio and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a strong foundation in pole dancing!

Gotta love this studio! Super friendly and experienced instructors. I am so glad to find a studio that men are allowed. Such fun!

I absolutely love Enchant! Before I moved, I was going to the studio for six months, about 3 times a week. The atmosphere is welcoming, non-judgmental, and fun!
In my Level 1 series, I appreciated the time taken by my instructor to go over safety, proper technique, and assurance that we were executing the moves properly. Not only did we learn pole "tricks" but also dance. If you're looking for a studio that is only about burning calories and throwing you into tricks you aren't ready for and will end up doing executing incorrectly, than this studio is not for you.
In mixed level classes and head over heels (inverts), the classes are individualized so that you learn moves at your own pace. Everyone has different levels of strength which is definitely understood at Enchant. There is also conditioning to help you increase your strength so you can do more complicated tricks.
I've made some amazing friends at Enchant!
When I moved away from Seattle for school, I tried out a bunch of different pole studios and none compare. The focus on community, dance, and self-love is fantastic at Enchant that no other studio has. In class, you see a variety of bodies and genders dancing which is encouraging and empowering. This has been the only pole studio I've ever gone to that respected my gender pronouns. They understand everyone is different which is demonstrated through their individualized lessons in higher levels and attitude.

We have been taking our daughter to Kim and Karen at Embrace the Moon for three years now, and now our almost 4 year old finally gets to go too.
I love the fact that our girls are being taught mindfulness, self knowledge, meditation, body awareness and strength through Tai Chi.
I recommend this to people of all ages.

I have been going to Enchant Vertical Dance for about a year now and if you can't tell already, I absolutely love it. There is just so much this studio has to offer (including some fantastic instructors):
-Get Your Splits Flexibility Class: I swear I do this about 4 times a week. When I started my legs had no idea what "splay" meant but now I almost have flexibility that is worth writing home about
-Creative Movement: New class that I have fallen in love with. A fun assortment of dance challenges that get you thinking about choreography in a new way. Really gets you out of your comfort zone
-Pole Classes: There is just so much to learn and the environment here really helps the process. Everyone is incredibly supported and devoted to helping you reach your goals while staying safe.
-Break a Sweat: Loads of conditioning games. One hell of a workout
-And there are even a couple more classes that I haven't taken yet!
Long story short, this is a great studio. If you want to spend time with a great group of people and learn some amazing dancy things, this is the place to be.

I recently moved to the US from Europe and I tried reaaaaally hard to find a pole dancing studio that I could actually enjoy.
Enchant has definitely the best instructors in Seattle, they spend a lot of time with each student, reviewing past moves and teaching new moves all in one class. Each student is unique to them, which means that you get to learn new moves that fit your level and your progression which is just amazing!
I just love this place! I would recommend it to everyone!

I was visiting Seattle and dropped by for a Level 2 class.
At first I was sort of overwhelmed because all the other students (5) already knew each other. They talked a lot during warm-up - I'm glad they have fun but don't think it was very professional for a class?
The class is more unstructured than those I'm used to taking. I think this class is more appropriately divided into 2 levels: Level 1 for students who took the intro series and Level 2 for those who already master some spins and invert comfortably.
Overall I enjoyed my experience at the end of the class. It's more like a self-planned class with instructor's supervision. I was taught a few floor moves, which were pretty easy. I assume the instructor picked those to be safe bc she didn't know my skill level.
I think I'd still prefer a class where students are closer to one another in skill level, and teach different variations of moves (easy to difficult).
Another con is that the bathroom is located 2 floors above and you have to go through like 3 doors! Pretty inconvenient.

MY FAVORITE DANCE STUDIO! I Love this place. The instructors are so knowledgeable and considerate. I really like what a body positive environment they've created that encourages you to do your best and have a lot of fun. They just introduced an Intro to Lyra class that I am now obsessed with! It's fantastic cross training for pole too. Enchant really keeps things fresh and exciting. The space itself is welcoming and clean with good lighting that makes you want to dance all day! Thanks Enchant for offering affordable and diverse classes!

Great little pole studio I visited during my stay in Seattle! I wanted to stop by for at least one class during my vacation and Jessica was very helpful over the email. She helped me figure out which class I should sign up for and helped me sign up.
I signed up for a class with Glenn. The studio was small with 5 poles (1 was in a isolated corner, not sure what it was used for). The class was small and not overbooked, and Glenn worked with each individual to give us something to practice. The poles aren't that tall, maybe 2 climbs max. They have full length mirrors which I love because it is great for free dancing (I NEED to see myself because I have no body awareness).
Pretty good studio, I wouldn't mind returning here for other classes.

Went here today with a groupon for an introductory pole workshop. Since it was the middle of the day on tuesday I ended up being the only person and getting a private class. yayyy! I have a yoga/dance background so I think I could have handled a little more intensity but that's not really a complaint as I think this was the perfect pace for an "i've never tried anything like this before" class. Small, intimate studio. Really nice instructors. Fun class!

Okay, here's the deal.
This studio is brand-spanking new and the owner and teachers clearly are incredibly passionate about their craft.
It's small, it's intimate and they clearly strive to promote an incredibly supportive and empowering experience.
They are affordable, provide tips, equipment and encouragement which are all very helpful when trying to balance getting in shape with exploring some new ways to connect with yourself.
I super love it here, I bet you will too!
