Looking for an explosive outdoor experience? This full day escape will give you some boom for you buck!
You’ll find yourself immersed in the lingering aftermath of the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens. There, new growth has begun to take hold thanks in part to ongoing reforestation projects. Your guide, trained in naturalist storytelling, will offer insights into both those efforts, and the local wildlife that calls this recently devastated environment home.
Highlights include the Johnston Ridge Observatory, Eruption Trail, and Hummocks Trail. You’ll even journey within a few miles of the crater, getting close enough to view the steam rising above it.
Volcanos are so hot right now.
