Decorative, fragrance, culinary herb, antiseptic, topical anesthetic, sedative, insect repellent, solvent -- lavender is basically the duct tape of the plant world. During this tour, you’ll get to learn all about this little plant that can firsthand!
You’ll be treated to an intimate introduction to the sustainable Pelindaba Lavender Farm, located on Northwest’s Washington’s beautiful San Juan Island. Find yourself immersed in fields of stunning beauty as you trek the grounds, learning about the process behind organically grown lavender straight from the farm’s owner.
You’ll also have a chance to learn about some of the artisanal lavender products that are produced on site, including checking out Pelindaba’s very own distillery, where they prepare aromatic essential oils!
