Looking to get away from the crowds? Stop cruising the mainstream attractions and take a sea kayak out on the placid waters of Griffin Bay.
Get out onto the water with the most experienced guides in the area. Take in beautiful views of the Olympic Range and glacier-covered Mt. Baker while exploring the hidden coves and tranquil waters of Griffin Bay. This is the perfect trip either for families, or for those who are new to sea kayaking.
You’ll paddle by Dinner Island and meet its chubby inhabitants (harbor seals). You may also encounter bald eagles, Dall’s or Harbor porpoise, river otters, mink and oodles of migratory seabirds such as scoters, harlequin ducks, loons and mergansers along with our local herons, cormorants, gulls and kingfishers!
Note: Please list down in the special requests box the name, age, height and weight of each participant. Max height is 6'6" and max weight is 250 lbs. All participants must be in average or better physical condition and have the muscle tone and stamina to handle conditions where a prolonged period of strong paddling is needed.
