Grab your gear and get out onto the water with the most experienced guides in the area. Take in beautiful views of the Olympic Range and glacier-covered Mt. Baker while exploring the hidden coves and tranquil waters of Griffin Bay. This offers you a fantastic day of kayaking and hiking around the most picturesque scenery in the area.
You’ll paddle by Dinner Island and meet its chubby inhabitants (harbor seals). You may also encounter bald eagles, Dall’s or Harbor porpoise, river otters, mink and oodles of migratory seabirds such as scoters, harlequin ducks, loons and mergansers along with our local herons, cormorants, gulls and kingfishers!
At the south end of Griffin Bay, disembark and hike to Cattle Point Lighthouse where you will enjoy a scrumptious lunch! After refueling, there is more to explore as you return to the landing area!
