The Market Experience Tour January 19, 2020Our tour with Jake couldn’t have been more fun!!!! From the moment we saw him waving the flag, he was engaging, inclusive, and super knowledgeable about everything in the market. We loved how he knew the people working at all the stands and introduced us to them. The salmon and fruit samples were the cherry on top! Our understanding of Pike Place Market was completely re-shaped by Jake’s insights. Thanks, Jake!

Seattle 101 Tour December 24, 2019Shawn was funny and so informative!! My 9 year old said to me, "Mom, this is SO cool! Thanks for letting us go on this tour!" I grew up In Seattle area, but now we live in KY and my kids only come for a week visit once a year. This was a fun way for them to get know the city I love!

The Market Experience Tour November 12, 2019It was a great tour and the tour guide Jo had lots of energy and insights. Expected a tad more of the market to be covered in the tour. Fun experience though.

Seattle 101 Tour October 18, 2017Cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this tour. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The tour guide was super engaging and fun, and he touched on everything from indigenous history, to the founding and development of Seattle, to the current culture and scene -- even recommending places for Happy Hour! He was truly a wealth of information -- anything he didn't talk during the main portions of the tour that I was curious about I could pull him aside while walking to the next spot and he was able to fill in the gaps for me every time. Have so much appreciation for this experience.

Seattle 101 Tour August 28, 2017This tour was awesome! I'm going to start off by saying i was hesitant about a free walking tour in a place I've never been to. However i decided to go for it and booked the Seattle 101 walking tour. I showed up to the meet up place and saw Joe holding a flag surrounded by the other tourist. Sign of relief this was legit! The tour started and right away i could tell this was going to be a blast. Joe had so much energy and you could tell hey knew his history. Learned about Seattle's history, funny stories and present times. Also learned about different monuments, restaurants, stores in Seattle. Really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend this tour!!

Seattle 101 Tour August 26, 2017We took 2 tours. The first was Seattle 101, and Joe led use on a fascinating trip back in time. We really learned a lot about the start of Seattle.
Our second tour was the Market Experience with Sean. Everyone should have to take this tour before heading to the Pike Place Market. There are so many ins and outs the regular tourist misses. Get your nose off the main drag and really see the Market with Free Seattle Walking Tours -

Seattle 101 Tour August 10, 2017The best parts were the enthusiasm of the guide, information presented - trivia and history!

Seattle 101 Tour July 24, 2017I took some friends along for the Historic Seattle Tour with Chris and highly recommend the experience for both out of town visitors as well as Seattle residents. The walking tour kept things entertaining with both interesting and humorous facts about Seattle, as well as kicking things off with a picturesque waterside view. It also highlighted things I must have been walking past in Seattle for years and never paid attention to until Chris pointed them out. My friends had a great time and so did I. This tour is a fun way to learn more about Seattle!

Seattle 101 Tour July 18, 2017Great brief history lesson about the market. Showed just enough of the must see parts. Shawn was great. Charming and funny. And he educated us on HOW to experience the rest of the market.

Seattle 101 Tour July 17, 2017The Seattle 101 Tour was the best walking tour I have done. Joe was the guide and knew everything about Seattle. The scope and entertainment value of what we learned was great. At no time during the two hour tour was I ever bored - Joe knew a ton and had a genuine passion about what he taught. The facts about great deals and other non historical aspects of the City were a great bonus. I went on a couple other tours and talked to some people through the weekend that tried telling me some random Seattle facts and each time I was fully equipped to contribute to the conversation based on what I learned on this tour. This is a must do in Seattle and should really be done as your first activity.

Seattle 101 Tour June 10, 2017It's a 2 hour tour and it's about a 2 mile trek. It's generally downhill because you end up by the ferries wheel. Our guide was funny and informative. It's a good way to see the city. I recommend doing it as early in your visit as you can so you can go back to those areas where you'd like to re-visit. You can't beat the price - you tip the tour guide as you deem appropriate.
