Seattle Theatresports Improv September 8, 2017Though there's a lot of great options for entertainment in Seattle, Unexpected Productions is my go-to place to laugh it out. Their shows are consistently witty and fun, and they're always rolling out new shows to check out! Even though technically every show is a new show. Because it's all made up. Located right next to the infamous Gum Wall at Pike Place, it's definitely a must-visit if you're in town. If you live in town, check out their classes! They're really fun, too!

Improv Happy Hour (Online Show) June 10, 2017Last night's Happy Hour show was outstanding, performed by talented cast members Melissa Reaves; Chris Last; Jay Hitt; Sara Carmer McMahon; and David Johnson. Highly recommend. Very fun experience in this historic Seattle theater in the Market.

Improv Happy Hour (Online Show) February 26, 2017Friday night show; My first improv show ever! Verdict is...it Was an epically great time; the team members did an amazing job, the venue is the perfect combo of awkward and enchanting and I shared it all with good company.. = satisfaction

Seattle Theatresports Improv January 15, 2017It was a random Friday night & we didn't know what to do so an Improv show it was! It was truth of dare style. There were a total of 6 participants and they picked truth/dare and had to attempt with the audience as judges to rate 1-5 (the points they get). The people up on stage are not random people! They work for this place. They were all great and actually made me laugh HAHA some was awkward but that's what makes it interesting. I would probably come back for another show!
Free popcorn with Yelp check in!! I finished it all before the show started. -

Seattle Theatresports Improv October 9, 2016What a wacky cool night ! The allure of candid talking puppets brought us into Theatre Sports tonight. We came to check out The Cotton Gin and ended up staying for two shows in one night. Heck, even participating in the entertainment and fun! This place is awesome. The actors are very creative and animated. The bartender was really kind and provided us with excellent service. I will be stopping by again in the future for different shows and a great weekend experience in Downtown Seattle.
Although it was windy and raining cats and dogs tonight we still had a wonderful time in Seattle! Unexpected Productions is directly outside of the gum wall - which is disgusting but cool in a gross way! The street was bustling with young adults walking to and from trendy restaurants and bars. It was great! -

Seattle Theatresports Improv May 16, 2016Came here with a friend Saturday night for their 10:30 show. My friend had been a few times, but I have never been to improv before. I kinda in my mind was comparing it to stand up comedy. After watching Improv here, I like it better than stand up. If you check in on Yelp, you get free popcorn, not sure if they charge usually or not though. They also serve beer here.
Location: next to the gum wall. I had a good time! The teams were hilarious, the judges were funny as well. And the MC of the night, Jaclyn, I think, was great! I would definitely come back for another show! -

Seattle Theatresports Improv May 15, 2016Unexpected Productions was my first Improv show and it was so much fun!! The actors were all great and overall were very good at keeping the story moving. The venue itself is quite small and well kept, keeping the performance a bit more on the intimate side. Plenty of laughs to go around, it was a really fun experience! Definitely a great use of an evening!

Seattle Theatresports Improv April 3, 2016First comedy show ever and I wish I made it a point to check out improv over some of my personal movie choices or staying in to watch bad scary movies on Netflix. The cast is on point! Loved the show, imagination, punch lines, and the way they paint an image for the audience with no props. Definitely coming back for sure :) I would recommend this place after an afternoon of exploring the market. You can laugh off the calories from all the snacking ;)
