    Public Coffee Cupping (Heath Ceramics)

Consider yourself a coffee enthusiast? Find your way over to the Blue Bottle Coffee kiosk at the Heath Ceramics factory and showroom, housed in the old Mission Linen factory along with the Heath showroom, gallery, tile kilns, and viewing atrium. You will get to enjoy a seasonally changing single origin espresso, along with espresso-based drinks, on a two group La Marzocco Strada EP. You will taste from a rotating selection of blends for drip coffee on a custom-made drip bar using Bonmac ceramic Drippers. You’ll love the selection of seasonally changing single origin coffees available for pour-over using Chemexes. All served, of course, in Heath ceramics (coffee is available in paper cups for takeaway orders, too). You can savor small treats and granola from their Oakland kitchen or buy your favorite whole bean coffee to take with you.

Famous Beer, Coffee and Chocolate Bike Tour

Looking to really get in touch with San Francisco's dynamic culture? This innovative tour hits all the right marks: bike, beer, coffee, chocolate, and a picnic in the park! You’ll ride alongside a local guide, perfect for getting the inside scoop on the popular neighborhoods you’ll be touring. Over the course of ten miles, you’ll cover Mission District, Potrero Hill, Dogpatch, Hunter’s Point, and Bayview. Your guide will offer historical and cultural insights, point out local art, and introduce you to a few spots that you won’t find in the guide books! You’ll make several “refreshment” stops along the way, starting with Charles’ Chocolates for a sample of their sweet treats and a look at their experimental kitchen. Then you’ll fuel up on gourmet delights while picnicking in an eco-park that offers Bay views, before getting frothy at a speakeasy-ish brewery with a beer sampling. The tour ends on a high (i.e., caffeinated) note at Ritual Coffee in the popular garden shop, Flora Grubb Gardens. Your bike will even come equipped with storage just in case you want to pick up some chocolate, growlers, or plants in your travels!
